At El Amparo Rural Retreat you can delight in a number of specially selected activities which reflect the diversity and culture of the region. From relaxing foodie experiences to more energetic exploratory excursions, there is something for everybody to enjoy.

Granada in particular, boasts the unique cultural pleasure which is the Alhambra Palace and Andalucia itself is rich in Roman and Moorish history.

The local area is ideal for exploring either on foot or 2 or 4 wheels; or four legs for the more adventurous. Whatever your interest, there is a wealth of history and culture to discover.

THE LOUNGE

The lounge is a cosy area for reading, relaxing or choosing a movie to watch at the end of the day. As well as having a large library of both fictional and
informative books, we have a huge collection of DVD’s, for all ages.

There are details of carefully researched walking and cycling routes for guests and also a computer with free Internet access. WiFi is available on
request in selected areas.

THE POOL

The pool area is open from 7.30am – 10.00pm, April until October – perfect for an early morning swim or a soak in the hot tub!

Pool towels are provided. If you get thirsty there’s even a fridge by the pool with cold drinks – just help yourself.

BIKE RIDING

We can arrange quality mountain bike hire for guests to use during their stay.

We offer maps and directions for many well-researched cycle routes.

WALKING & SIGHTSEEING

The immediate area is ideal for discovery on foot and is suitable for all levels of fitness and walker.

We can advise on the most suitable circuits with maps and directions for many well-researched routes.
