Below is a list of all the most common Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) relating to our activities and experiences of Granada and Andalucia. If you have a question not covered here, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Should I book in advance?

It is best to pre-book your activity as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. Depending on our availability we are happy to arrange an activity or experience at very short notice – even on the same day!

How do I pay?

Deposit payments can be made via PayPal (we will email you an invoice with a payment link and you can pay online with a credit/debit card or using your PayPal account). In the case of last minute bookings you can pay in Euros at the start of the tour.

Are activities available all year round?

Yes.

Do you cater for people with special needs or disabilities?

Where suitable, we are very happy to provide activities to people with special needs or disabilities. Please don’t hesitate to discuss your requirements with us and we will do our best to accommodate you although it may not be possible to provide activities safely for every disability.

What happens if it rains or the weather is unsuitable?

Outside activies typically go ahead even if it rains. It rarely rains for very long in Granada, short showers are more typical. If we declare the weather inclement before the activity starts (e.g. rain, wind, snow, ice, hail etc.) the activity can be re-scheduled at a time convenient to you (subject to availability). If we are unable to provide a new booking date that is mutually acceptable we will refund any monies paid by you. El Amparo or their agents reserve the right to stop an activity during the tour if it is felt that the safety of the clients are at risk due to adverse weather. A pro-rata refund will be offered or the complete activity can be re-scheduled at a time convenient to you (subject to availability) at no extra charge. Remember your enjoyment is paramount to us so if you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate to give us a call.

What if I decide to cancel or need to re-schedule?

1: If you decide to cancel an activity at any time up to 7 days in advance of the original date booked we will refund any
payment made minus a 25€ administration fee.

2: If you decide to cancel the tour with less than 48 hours notice of the original date/time booked no refund will be given.
If you have any problems, please talk to us as soon as possible so that we can try to arrange another date for your activity.

What if I am running late for my activity?

If you are running late please contact us as soon as possible. If you arrive up to 15 minutes late the activity will still finish at the pre-arranged time so that other customers booked after you are not inconvenienced. This will usually result in a change to the planned activity.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late we will do our very best to complete the activity but may have to cut the activity short if we have a booking directly afterwards.

If we have no booking afterwards then we will do our very best to complete the schedule. No refunds will apply in either case.

If the clients have not arrived 15 minutes after the booked meeting-time and the operator has had no contact from them, the activity will be cancelled and no refund will be made.
