Terms & Conditions

1: All activities or experiences must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

2: Bookings must be made through the bookings page. Confirmation of the date/time will be e-mailed to you with a PayPal invoice to pay for the activity or experience. You can pay online using debit/credit card or your PayPal account.

4: For last minute bookings you can pay the operator in cash at the start of the activity or experience.

5: If you wish to re-schedule your booking, we will accept changes (subject to availability) up to 3 days in advance of the booked activity or experience with no charge to you. Should we be unable to offer a date that is mutually acceptable we will refund any payment made minus a 25€ administration fee.

1: If you decide to cancel the activity or experience more than 3 days in advance of the original date/time booked we will refund any payment made, minus a 25€ administration fee.

2: If you decide to cancel the activity or experience less than 3 days in advance of the original date/time booked no refund will be given.

3: El Amparo. will only cancel an activity or experience as a last resort. If this happens due to our failure, e.g. a mechanical failure or illness we will give you as much notice as possible and will refund any payment made in full if an alternative arrangement cannot be agreed between us. Our liability will be limited to the total value paid by you in advance.

4: If we declare the weather inclement before the activity or experience starts (e.g. rain, wind, snow, ice, hail etc.) the activity or experience can be re-scheduled at a time convenient to you (subject to availability). If we are unable to provide a new booking date that is mutually acceptable we will refund any monies paid by you.

5: You may request to cancel the activity or experience at any time during the activity or experience for personal reasons. No refunds will apply in this instance.

1: El Amparo and its agents is fully covered where applicable by vehicle and public liability insurance.

2: Customers undertaking a tour or experience do so at their own risk. It is your responsibility to observe all applicable safety procedures at all times and to obey our instructions. El Amparo take safety very seriously and take the utmost care of our customers. Where applicable, you will be given a safety briefing at the start of the activity or experience.

7: El Amparo reserves the right where appropriate to refuse a activity or experience to any passenger who is not dressed appropriately, is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whom we decide is not suitable for the activity or experience and no refund will be given. At our discretion an alternative date may be offered depending on the circumstances.

1: The minimum age for any activity or experience is 12 years. Any child between 12 and 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult over 21 years old.

2: Gratuities for the operator are at the customer’s discretion.

3: El Amparo reserves the right to use any photographs taken by our operator of our customers in promotional material, on the company website, social media, advertising etc. for our business unless specifically advised in writing by you.

4: Where required, It may be necessary to detour from a planned tour route due to (but not limited to) road closures, diversions or weather conditions. The tour will still last for at least the same length of time and we will do our very best to minimise the inconvenience but no refunds will be given.

5: We will not be held responsible for financial or personal loss to customers in the event of mechanical failures and events beyond our control. Events beyond our control include (but are not limited to) war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, technical problems with transport including changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of hire by us or alteration of the vehicle or vehicle type for reasons beyond our control; closed or congested roads, villages, towns and cities or actual or forecast severe weather conditions and any other similar events.

6: Violence, foul language, intimidation, antagonism, or any other form of anti-social behaviour towards any member of staff at El Amparo will not be tolerated, and may result in the termination of the activity or experience and Police involvement. No refunds will be given for termination caused by anti-social behaviour. Any persons carrying out acts of vandalism or malicious damage to El Amparo property will be prosecuted.

7: Whilst every care is always taken your personal property is carried entirely at your own risk on the tour and no responsibility can be accepted by El Amparo for loss or damage thereto. Customers are therefore advised to ensure that they have adequate and relevant travel insurance in place.

9: In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the activity or experience, your concerns should be made in writing and addressed to El Amparo, Santa Cruz de Comercio, 18129, Granada, Spain. We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint and undertake to investigate it promptly and revert to you in writing. Our mission is to deliver outstanding customer service.
